Retail investors can now access all UK corporate and government bonds through corporate bond investment platform WiseAlpha.
The company first issued fractional bonds in 2016, allowing high net worth individuals to invest in companies without having to meet the £100,000 minimum investment requirement. Rezaah Ahmad, CEO, commented: “Bonds are not just for institutional investors. The FCA and UK government recently expressed a desire to widen retail participation in this market. The revolution in bond investing is gathering pace and I’m proud that we’re leading from the front.”
Institutional clients can partner with WiseAlpha to offer their clients access to fractional bonds, using its B2B2C solutions.
