US 2 Year Treasury Note breaks 5%

The US 2 Year Treasury Note rose above 5% at approximately 2 AM EDT last night. Highs of 5.007% were recorded at 2:22 and 2:31 AM EDT, before falling to 4.979% at 3:02 AM EDT. 

These results continue a fairly steady path of growth over the past two months. The note dipped significantly at the start of 2024, following frequent readings above 5% between September and December 2023, but appears to be climbing once again. 

At previous close, the note was recorded at 4.998%.
