Tim Kurpis has been named senior vice president (SVP) and portfolio manager, credit at AllianceBernstein, thirteen years after joining the firm in the role of fixed income associate.
“I am honoured to be named a portfolio manager for credit with AllianceBernstein,” he said. “I acknowledge the many contributions and continued support I’ve received from my numerous mentors within the AB Fixed Income Team. AB’s culture of innovation and its leadership are reasons why I have been able to build a 13-year career here, and I look forward to many more years ahead, dedicated to delivering better outcomes for our clients.”
Most recently Kurpis was the head of credit trading at the firm, which is known for its advanced analytics and encouraging a data-led approach to assessing trading opportunities.
Tiffanie Wong, SVP and director of US Investment Grade Credit, and director of FI responsible investing portfolio management at AB, said, “Since joining AB in 2009, Tim has continued to demonstrate incredible industry expertise and leadership on our fixed income team.
