Samantha Cooper has started a new position as head of the fixed income portfolio management group at AllianceBernstein.
Cooper, who has been with the firm for more than seven years, was previously a director of risk management within the fixed income business for more than a year-and-a-half.
Cooper has held a number of roles at AllianceBernstein, including vice president fixed income risk manager, and assistant vice president, fixed income risk controls associate. All of Cooper’s roles at AllianceBernstein have been based in New York state.
Prior to AllianceBernstein, Cooper spent more than three years at Barclays as an analyst, internal audit, again, based in New York.
