RBC has named Michael Mulholland director of leveraged credit sales, based in London.
Mulholland joins from UBS, where he was part of the firm’s leveraged credit sales team for more than 11 years. Mulholland will report to Joseph Sayers, head of high yield and loan sales, pan-Europe.
At RBC, Mulholland will lead coverage for RBC’s client accounts, focusing on high yield credit and leveraged loans, as well as bank capital and cross over credits. He will be working closely with teams in GIB, private capital and alternative finance, US leveraged credit and capital markets, as well as RBC’s European investment grade credit trading franchise.
Mulholland’s over three decades of experience and his industry relationships with some of RBC’s clients will complement the firm’s ongoing focus on leveraged credit offering across sales and trading, leveraged finance and private capital solutions.
Mulholland has also had stints at Numen Capital as a trader, and as a senior broker at ICAP. He also had a five-year term at ICAP as the co-head EMEA CDS desk.
