State Street has appointed Patrick Wegner as a senior portfolio manager and trader for North American rates in the office of the chief investment officer.
Wegner has more than 15 years of industry experience and joins State Street from CElent, where he was a senior research analyst for capital markets. Prior to this, he spent more than four years as a director at NatWest Markets, based in London.
Wegner began his career at RBS, and became director of both USD swaps trading and USD rates trading.
Commenting on his appointment via LinkedIn, Wegner said: “[I’m] looking forward to contributing to the stability and continued success of such an important and storied institution, as well as reconnecting with many old friends.”
