Norges Bank Investment Management (NBIM) has appointed Pauli Mortenson and John Sullivan as global co-heads of fixed income trading, following the promotion of Malin Norberg to chief asset strategies officer (CASO) from global head of fixed income trading.
Mortenson has been at NBIM since 2001, when he joined as a senior portfolio manager. Most recently he was head of rates trading and has previously headed up fixed income trading across Europe, Asia and global markets.
He joined from Nordea where he held the roles of senior dealer and latterly chief proprietary trader.
Sullivan began working at NBIM in 2011 as a senior trader, and has previously been head of fixed income trading for the Americas, and more recently was head of credit trading. Beofr etakgin on his current role.
Having started his career at State Street Research in 1997, he held leadership roles including senior managing director and portfolio manager at Advisors Asset Management during his career.
