Antti Kerätär, senior dealer at OP Financial Group in Finland, is moving to a new role at Elo Mutual Pension Insurance Company as part of the newly established trading team that will eventually handle the majority of the firm’s trading. The team will initially work on equity execution.
Kerätär originally joined Pohjola Asset Management in 2007 as a portfolio manager, before the firm was absorbed into OP Financial Group in 2014. He moved into an equity trading role and was promoted to head trader for equities in 2011 when Simo Puhakka, then head of trading, became CEO of OP Asset Management Execution Services, a subsidiary of OP Financial Group which developed a buy-side smart order routing (SOR) platform for institutional buy side investors. Kerätär was responsible for equites trading alongside order routing development, SOR sales and client services.
He was made senior dealer in 2019 and will join Elo in September.
