Announcing his new position on social media, Stewart said: In my new role I’ll co-head fixed income and supervise our client activities within the CFS flow business. It’s an exciting challenge and I am honoured to serve the group and firm in this new role.”

Stewart previously held the role of head of fixed income and currencies (FIC) sales for the Americas within Societe Generale’s global markets division, a role he held for six months.

Prior to Societe Generale, Stewart spent four-and-a-half years at Mizuho as managing director, based in New York City where he helped manage the buildout of the firm’s Macro business.

Before moving to Mizuho, Stewart spent more than two decades at Swiss multinational investment bank UBS as managing director.
