Jason Rich has been named country head for Singapore and Southeast Asia at State Street, effective 1 January.
Based in Australia, he will oversee the overall investment servicing business.
Rich replaces Kevin Hardy, who is leaving the firm after three years. His appointment follows “a comprehensive internal and external search”, a State Street spokesperson told Global Trading.
Rich has more than 20 years of industry experience, 17 of which have been spent at State Street. He has been head of APAC sales since 2020, a role he will maintain in addition to his new responsibilities.
Prior to joining the firm, Rich spent almost seven years with RBC.
