Ivan Mihov has been appointed as fixed income sell-side business development at Liquidnet. Mihov has a strong pedigree in sales in the sector, with three years spent at each of Bloomberg and then MarketAxess covering electronic fixed income trading sales, before being named head of buy-side fixed income trading solutions at EMS provider AxeTrading.
“In his new role, and reporting directly to me, Ivan will be responsible for growing our sell-side connectivity as we continue to add more trading protocols and functionalities. Ivan’s expertise in this area will make him a tremendous asset to the team,” says Jonathan Gray, head of fixed income sell-side sales at Liquidnet.
Liquidnet, which was acquired by TP ICAP last year, has a strong support from its buy-side users base and building the sell-side community up in the fixed income markets will likely form a key part of its growth.
