Genesis Global has released a number of initiatives within Version 8 (G8) of its Genesis Application Platform.
The Genesis platform is used by firms to build financial grade-applications, develop new software, enhance legacy systems and replace manual processes.
In G8, the firm has introduced Genesis Marketplace, Genesis Create, and Genesis View. The first acts as a library of pre-built, commonly-used elements, allowing developers to accelerate their application building. Genesis Create is a web-based tool for users to begin and launch new applications code-free, with Genesis View gives back-end and generalist developers the ability to design and edit user interfaces. The update also includes improved desktop interoperability.
Alongside G8, Genesis is now also offering a partner portal for third-party integrators and consultancies to co-sell and build on its platform.
Tej Sidhu, chief technology officer at Genesis Global, stated: “We engineered G8 to make it faster for developers to experience that ‘eureka’ moment when they fully grasp the platform’s capabilities. Tools like the Marketplace, Create, and View work together to reduce back- and front-end coding, making it faster and easier for developers to start productive work and understand how Genesis helps them address their most important and complex priorities.”
Nikhil Joshi, global head of markets technology at Citi, added: “Genesis is a go-to partner for some of our most innovative projects. We are impressed by both the speed with which the Genesis platform can deliver new, full-stack applications and its ability to handle a diverse set of financial business requirements.”
