Patrice Guesnet and James Frew are reported to have been named global co-heads of fixed income trading at Pictet Asset Management. They have taken over following the departure of Carl James on 10 March 2023.
Frew has been head of fixed income trading in London for Pictet AM since 2017, having joined the firms as a senior credit trader in 2015. He previously had deep sell-side experience in the fixed income space having spent five years at Société Générale, two years at Santander, five at ABN AMRO and seven at BNP Paribas.
Guesnet has been a senior emerging markets trader in fixed income at Pictet AM since 2012, and also had a strong background on the sell side having worked across UniCredit, Barclays Capital and Standard Bank over nine years.
