Convertible management specialist Ellipsis Asset Management, a subsidiary of the Kepler Cheuvreux group, has acquired Edmond de Rothschild Asset Management’s convertible bond management business.
Through the mandate, portfolio managers Cristina Jarrin and Mikael Dauvert will join the Ellipsis AM convertible team. A distribution partnership will also be established for Ellipsis AM funds with Edmond de Rothschild Private Bank.
The acquisition will strengthen Ellipsis’s position in the convertible bond management space, the company said, while Edmond de Rothschild will be able to rely on the firm as a preferred partner.
