Citadel Securities’ head of FICC systematic trading Mark Wilkinson is to depart the firm.
According to a social media post, Wilkinson had his last day at Citadel Securities on 30 September.
In the post, he wrote: “After more than a decade, today marks my last day at Citadel Securities. I am incredibly proud of my time at the firm and the small part I played in its success story.”
Wilkinson began at Citadel as a trader, a role he held for 18 months before moving onto president of Citadel Securities Canada, based out of Ontario. Five years ago, Wilkinson also became head of FICC systematic trading, based out of Chicago. Having left Citadel, Wilkinson intends to move back to Canada.
Prior to Citadel, Wilkinson spent five-and-a-half years at ITG as associate vice president for trading.
