David Blake has joined Mariana Investment Partners, a boutique investment partnership focussed on investment solutions for small to mid-sized asset owners. Assets under advisory and management currently encompass investment grade and high-yield relative value credit strategies, small-to-medium-enterprise lending, receivable factoring, systematic strategies, and, long-short equity.
Blake joins as partner and will be focussed on the build out of a short duration fixed income franchise. He left his role as director for Global Fixed Income at Northern Trust Global Investments in 2018, after 15 years at the firm, following a restructuring of portfolio management across the UK and US teams. He had previously worked at the Debt Management Office. During his tenure at NTGI its money market assets under management grew from US$5 billion to US$30 billion.
