BMO Capital Markets has appointed Anoop Datta as managing director of algorithmic trading risk.
Datta has close to 20 years of experience and joins the firm from Wells Fargo, where he was electronic trading control management director. Prior to this, he was consultant chief operating officer at CryptoCurrency.
Earlier in his career, Datta was head of electronic trading risk at Goldman Sachs, chief operating officer for FX trading and e-trading at Wells Fargo, and chief operating officer for FICC e-trading at Deutsche Bank.
