Erik Tham has joined MarketAxess as head of Private Banking, for Benelux and Switzerland, leaving his position as executive director at UBS Wealth Management, where he was most recently head of fixed income & equities e-trading, execution automation and data driven insight.
Tham, had worked at UBS Wealth for over 12 years. Prior to that he worked at UBS Investment Bank since 2006, which he joined from Accenture. He has a Master’s degree in physics from Universität Regensburg.
He has not been directly replaced, however Mikael Bjorkman is now head of fixed income execution at the buy-side firm.
