Ramon Baljé, the head of fixed income at Flow Traders, the prominent Dutch market maker, is leaving the firm after six years.
During his tenure, Baljé was responsible for developing the fixed income algo trading and sales business, focusing on euro investment grade, emerging markets, and USD investment grade segments.
Baljé has over 20 years of international experience in trading, structuring, and sales management. His career includes senior roles at Nomura and JP Morgan where he was Managing Director leading large teams and significant budgets specialized in credit electronic trading. In addition to his work in capital markets, Baljé has contributed to academia as a guest lecturer in Dutch universities.
in his departure message, Baljé expressed gratitude for the challenges and learning opportunities at Flow Traders. He noted that he is planning to take a sabbatical to spend time with family and friends and to pursue personal sporting challenges, including possibly a triathlon.
