Data services provider Behavox has acquired Mosaic Smart Data as it prepares to release a trade surveillance product.

Mosaic aggregates internal and external transaction data for organisations and creates insights to support decision-making and liquidity discovery. Through the acquisition, Behavox will enhance its trade surveillance product – slated for release in H2 this year – with transaction and communications data illuminating market activity. The service is currently in customer testing.

Erkin Adylov, CEO of Behavox, said: “[We are] excited about the enhanced capabilities our integrated offering will deliver to customers. This acquisition enables us to integrate commercial insights from Behavox, such as Indications of Interest (IOIs) and Request for Quotes (RFQs), into Mosaic Smart Data – across both text and voice.”

Behavox already offers electronic communication surveillance, a regulatory archiving solution, a knowledge and policy management system and a front-office analytics solution for FICC teams. Structured and unstructured corporate data is absorbed to generate actionable insights across these business areas.
