Houlihan Lokey has named Clinton Miyazono managing director in its capital markets group. Miyazono will support the firm’s credit capabilities out of the firm’s Chicago office.
Miyazono joins the firm from D.A. Davidson Equity Capital Markets, where he was managing director, responsible for raising non-control capital for privately held, sponsor-backed, and publicly traded companies across various sectors.
Anthony Martino, managing director and global co-head of Houlihan Lokey’s capital markets group, said, “At a time during which our clients’ financing needs require increasingly specialised expertise, we are excited to have Clinton join our Capital Markets team to add to our credit capabilities.”
On his appointment Miyazono said, “The Capital Markets team has a long-standing reputation as a leader in the industry. I am excited to begin working alongside my colleagues and continue to deliver the highest level of service to our global client base.”
In 2023, the group raised and advised on more than US$14 billion in capital across approximately 100 transactions with around 65 different financial sponsors.
