State Street has issued US$2.3 billion in senior debt, using five broker-dealers owned by underrepresented groups in line with its diversity, equity and inclusion objectives,
These firms underwrote 40% of the securities in the issuance, with Siebert Williams Shank & Co acting as a joint book-running manager and CAVU Securities, King & Associations, Penserra Securities and Roberts & Ryan serving as co-managers.
Kimberly DeTrask, executive vice president as treasurer, commented: “Each of our debt issuances is aligned with State Street’s broader business objectives, including a specific aim to increase industry representation and promote better outcomes for global investors.”
Morgan Stanley, BMO Capital Markets and Citigroup Global Markets also acted as joint book-running managers.
