Chris Coccoluto has been promoted to co-head global fixed income trading at Manulife Investment Management, from his role as head of investment grade (IG) bond trading.

Coccoluto has been a strong public voice for buy-side traders across industry events, and in the press. Having started his career as an analyst he joined Manulife Investment Management just over 15 years ago as a rotational analyst/trader in fixed income and FX markets. He moved up to become a fixed income trader, handling primary and secondary market bond trading for a variety of bond fund portfolios and a portfolio manager for a money market fund.

In 2013 he then took on sole responsibility for emerging markets fixed income trading whilst also supporting fixed income trading across other markets as a senior trader, before heading up the four-person team in the centralised trading desk running investment grade trading in 2016.

Jason Fromer will be fellow co-head of global fixed income trading, having previously been head of North American trading. Fromer has eight years at Manulife Investment Management and deep FICC trading experience, with as a veteran of State Street, Putnam Investments, Soros Fund Management and JP Morgan.
